This is the 4th album from Rich Mattson and the Northstars. The four-piece "cosmic folk" group has twisted the gauge towards rock on this one..bouncy, jangly, guitar-driven rock, with harmony and a sense of urgency that has you on the edge of your seat by the end. Mostly up-tempo numbers, just languid enough to keep you from jumping off. Influenced by X, the Cars, Neil young, the Byrds, Link Wray, and some old stuff.
